Parental Prayer

I just think we need to take control of our kids before the culture takes them away from the Parents. We should all pray this prayer for help from God who is so glorious.

Father, thank You for the privilege of parenting my children through their teen years. Thank You for giving me Your Word to stand on today as I speak Your promises over their lives. Jer. 1:12

I choose that for me and my whole house, and me we will serve the Lord.
Eph. 6:1-4

We are all fixing our eyes upon Jesus, for He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
Eph. 3:12,17 & James 1:7

We are seeking first, as a family, the Kingdom of God. Deu. 30:19-20

We love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and mind. Luke 10:27

My children are seeking You with their whole hearts. And when they seek You, Lord, they find You! 1Peter 5:7

I am running my race forgetting those things, which lie behind. Rom 8:6-9

My parenting shortcomings, my failures, and my mess-ups are under Your blood, Lord. 2 Cor. 12:9 & Heb. 9:12

Thank You for Your forgiveness! Eph. 1:7

I shake off the sin that so easily entangles me. I run with perseverance the race marked out for me. Eph. 4:14

I declare that my children are listening to Your voice, Lord. They are positioned to receive the handoff of faith. Ps. 8:1-2

The voice of the stranger, the deceiver, they do not listen to. Ps. 9:2-3

My children are protected by the power of God through faith. Ps. 91:2,11

Protect them, Lord, from the hidden snares and temptations of this world. Isa. 54:13

Please bring to light anything in darkness that I need to know in the life of our family. Ps. 3:3

Thank You for leading my children toward a life of holiness and purity. Ps. 127:3

Every wicked thing that comes against their minds, emotions, bodies, spirits, or wills must flee today, Lord, for my children belong to Jesus! Isa. 49:25

Help my children in their education, their friendships, their hobbies, and their jobs to bring glory to You. Deu. 28:3,6,13 & Dan. 1:4

I thank You, Lord, that You are leading my children in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Ps. 4:5 & Prov. 8:32, 22:6

Lord, deal with our family according to Your mercy and grace. But, God, reveal our sin daily that we may repent and walk in newness of life. Heb. 4:16

We are a family that walks by the Spirit of God. We do not carry out the desires of the sinful nature. Ps. 112:8 & 1 Cor. 2:13

We turn from strife, bitterness, sensuality, envy, uncleanness, and selfishness. Col. 3:1-2

I thank You for the fruit of Your Holy Spirit mad manifest in our family’s life.
Rom 8:26-27 & Heb. 10:15-16

We have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control increasing in our home today. Gal. 5:22-23

Father, You created each of us with a calling and a future hope. Prov. 16:3

Let Your Kingdom plan come over our home. Let Your perfect will be done on earth as You have already willed it in heaven. Isa. 55:11 & Matt. 6:10

Please give us Your wisdom, Your passion, Your leadership, and Your desires that we may be effective in our service to You. Luke 2:52

Open our eyes to see as You see; our hearts to love as You love; and our hands to give as You give. Prov. 3:5-6

Mold me into the parent Your desire me to be. Deu. 6:7

And please allow our family to take our position on the Frontline to lead others to You! Matt. 28:16-20

Great Prayer!

Pretty awesome prayer. Being in the bible STUDY section though, would it be possible that you give us scriptures that back up the prayer.

For example:
But, God, reveal our sin daily that we may repent and walk in newness of life.

Php 3:15
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

This way it's more Bible study, where the reader can firmly hold onto the eternal word the Prayer is set in.

Jesus Is Lord.
