Paradoxicaloxymoron?
There is no such a word as "Paradoxicaloxymoron", I just made it up from two different words. A “PARADOX” is a statement or argument that seems to be contradictory or to go against common sense, but it is yet still true. An “OXYMORON” is a word or group of words that is self-contradicting.
A person who is in “Christ” is alive even if they are dead! A person who is NOT in “Christ” is dead even if they are alive.
The Bible is filled with paradox's, and oxymoron's that make no sense at all, but are true!
Jesus said....
Mar 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT, and it will be yours.
How can a person believe they have already received something that they asked for in prayer, but according to all of their physical logical senses they do not have it? Logical analytical thinking in our brain is not compatible with spiritual thinking as they are contrary to each other!
This is why you can not logically analytically study the Bible to discover any of it's truth, because logical truth is contrary to spiritual truth even though there are certain truths that are real in the physical realm, but not true in the spiritual realm. The word “truth” which Jesus said he was (John 14:6) means “REALITY”. Reality can only be found in a place that never changes! This world is real, but it is not “reality” because it is ever-changing!
1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
1Jn 2:17 And THE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Jesus is the “Highway” that leads us to the “reality” of “life!” This is not someday in the future, it means today!!! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! The Prophet tells about the day in which we are living now!
Isa 35:7 the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
Isa 35:8 And A HIGHWAY SHALL BE THERE, and it shall be CALLED THE WAY OF HOLINESS; the unclean shall not pass over it. IT SHALL BELONG TO THOSE WHO WALK ON THE WAY; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there, but THE REDEEMED SHALL WALK THERE.
Isa 35:10 And THE RANSOMED OF THE LORD SHALL RETURN AND COME TO ZION with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
If we have ever wondered where this Kingdom of His dear Son is that we have been translated to it can be found here.
Heb 12:22 But YOU HAVE COME TO MOUNT ZION AND TO THE CITY OF THE LIVING GOD, THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,
Heb 12:23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
Heb 12:24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
Heb 10:19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 by the new and living way (Highway) that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
Does this make any logical analytical sense to you? It is not supposed to, because it is not logical understanding, it is spiritual understanding!!
In the same way, we are growing with CHRIST IN US unto that perfect man, as it is happening progressively in this physical world until we become the man WE ALREADY ARE in Christ!!
That is an “oxymoron”! How can a person grow into something he already is?
Logically thinking it can never happen, but spiritually thinking it has already happened. The “Joy” of this spiritual understanding does not come from the progressive change each person is undergoing, but from the fact of its completion!
