[Romans 11:15 KJV] "For if the casting away of them [be] the reconciling of the world, what [shall] the receiving [of them be], but life from the dead?"
[Romans 11:32 KJV] "For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all." *********** The casting away of Israel enabled God to reconcile the world to himself. Israel fell by unbelief and allowed God to be just in extending mercy to all.
[2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV] "And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;" ********** Here is our "great commission". We are to proclaim that we have been reconciled to God through Christ Jesus.
[2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV] "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." ********* God isn't imputing sin, which means he isn't reckoning it unto the world. It does not mean trespasses have been automatically forgiven.
[2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV] "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God."
[2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV] "For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." ********* Our ministry of reconciliation is not found in Mark 16:16 by preaching the gospel of the kingdom to every creature. Our ministry of reconciliation is not found in Matthew 18:19-20 by teaching the nations. Our ministry is to exhort all to be reconciled to God by Christ.
