Our family needs your prayers

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
My wife and I are feeling a little overwhelmed here of late. My sister-in-law and her 2 teenage children needed a place to stay as well as our daughter, who is going through a divorce, and her 2 children. We have 3 children still at home and live in a small 3 bedroom house. Tensions are high. My sister-in-law's 16 yr old son got in trouble for stealing and is under house arrest until his court date. Our 17 yr old son has chosen a "worldly oriented" girlfriend and his character has dramatically changed for the worse. We are constantly fighting with him about his choices. My dear wife is a nervous reck trying to keep our household going.
Please join with us in prayer. We need them right now.

Father I praise you, for hearing our cries.

Lord you know the names and the hearts of this family, I speak life and peace into their household. I come against the spirit of confusion in the name of Jesus. Lord remove rebellion out of the hearts that need structure.

Give his wife the mind of Christ, let her know all those burdens you hold in your hands, help her to find rest in your presence. Lord let Love win, help their son to walk in obedience and respect to his parents.

Lord I pray for the salvation of his sister in law and her kids. I ask that you provide for them spiritually and finacially.

Lord I praise you for everything you going to do in that house.

Heavenly Father my brother in Christ and his wife have been going through rough times and need your help in restoration of Joy into their family again.

2 yrs. back, our family went through a time with my son who also chose to get involved with a non-christian lady. It was so obvious to my wife and I she was just using him for his money to play and have fun.

Sure enough, when the money started running out she moved on to another one to use. No matter what I tried to say to my son he wouldn't accept our wisdom. Actually it made the gap between us larger.

I had to let him get hurt and make wrong choices. Sometimes they need to fall before they realize where you were coming from. With some even
then you are still in the wrong in their minds.

One Christian brother told me I should of put my son out of the house if he wasnt going to follow the house rules. So they would learn from their choices. I wasnt strong enough to do this.

We now have a good relationship but it took some months for the mending to happen. Don't have an answer for your sister inlaw. Thats a tough call.

I would first of all have to protect my wife and family and take into consideration what our family would be exposed to with the other family coming into the house. I might be trying to find another solution of where else they could stay.

I've said enough so God Bless and pray with your wife and sit down and make a family decission as well. The Lord might chose to speak wisdom through your kids or wife.

Brother, I will be and am praying for you and your house. I am familiar with what you tell us, and as I consider if I would like the same situation in my house, I am compelled to pray for you, my brother.

I have had quite a few tricky situations to deal with, my own life, my house, and the lives and house of others. Even now most would not want to swap places! I'll spare the details, but not this one piece of advice:

Give thanks! (for all of it!) Jesus is THE Lord

Believe.

Now for prayer.... and, amen to the prayers posted here already.

May you know God's peace in your heart and may God's peace in Jesus Christ the Lord be with your beloved wife. And, may His joy be full in you both.

I lift up the jones family and household to you. Please fill that house with your presence. Bless them with your peace. Please give wisdom and direction where it is needed. I just lift them all up to your throne of grace, knowing that you are the best one Lord to give all good and hard stuff to take care of. I am saddened and shaken up to the core, to know the condition of your family. I will be praying for you and your family everyday. Let me pray for you right now:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I surrender our brother Rjones completely into Your hands. You know very well (a lot better than what we know), the struggle, the pain, the heartache, the suffering his family has been going through. Lord, you promised in Your word that You are a God who heals us of every situation. So we look to you today Lord, to come to our rescue. Where else can we go Father God, but only to You.

I surrender our dear brother's sister-in-law and her children completely into Your hands. Lord, we ask You to provide their need as they are so desperate for a place to stay. You look after them and protect them Father God. Lord, I surrender their son completely into Your hands. No matter what he stole Father God, let him be forgiven and give him a chance to undo what he did. Lord we ask you to touch him and change his heart and let Him accept You as his Lord and Saviour. Lord, we ask you to turn around his situation and let him be forgiven. Restore him completely (emotionally and physically) and let him live a new life Father God. Lord, with you nothing is impossible. Please work Your marvelous way Father God, in Jesus Name we pray.

I surrender our dear brother's daughter and her children completely into Your hands, Father God. You know the condition of her family very well, as she's going through a divorce case. I rebuke every power of darkness that is working in their life, in the Name of Jesus. Satan, you have absolutely, no authority over this family. They belong to Jesus. Lord, we ask you right now, to mend this broken relationship between her and her husband and let there be a seed of perfect love sown in that family Father God. Let Your healing flow through this family in Jesus Name and Lord, please provide them a place to stay (You know very well, the struggle they are going through).

Lord, I surrender our dear brother's 17 year old son, completely into your hands. Lord, we pray that you touch him and convince him that this world is not our home. Let him come into Your presence and leave every worldly lust Father God we pray in Jesus Name. I rebuke that satan that is working in his mind, in Jesus name. Satan, you have absolutely no authority over him, leave him in Jesus name. He belongs to Jesus. Lord, with you nothing is impossible. We know, you will bring him out of every worldly lust, Father God.

Lord, I surrender our dear brother's remaining 3 children, bless them and prosper them in every way of their life Father God.

Lord, I surrender our dear brother's wife completely into Your hands. Lord, we pray that You fill her heart with Your peace so that she will be free from every tension. Lord, be magnified and let Your presence surround them I pray in Jesus Name.

Dear Brother Rjones,

I know it is very easy to say the words, "Don't worry.". At the same time, I know it is very hard to endure the kind of suffering in Your family. The God of Abraham, will never let you down. He will surely take care of the situation. It is humanly impossible, but nothing is impossible with God.

As far as your son is concerned, I believe this is what God revealed to me (I don't know, but I believe it), please show this to him:

brother rjones: I stand in agreement with you that God will stand in the mist of you and yours. I pray that God's Will, will protect you and give you the guidance and wisdom you need. I pray for peace, the peace that God can only give.As I read you request I keep getting God is in Control. Give it over to Him, He will guide you, Peace be to you and yours. I want to say on a personal note. Praise God for parents. To be there when their children need their help. Also Praise God for the children who are there for their parents.
