Will you give up when waters rise
And threaten you to drown?
When fierce winds blow your tiny ship,
You think is going down.
Will you give up succumb to trials,
When fires burn hot and bright?
Oppressive spirits nip your heels
And bite, both day and night.
When Satan and his demons scheme,
Planning their next attack,
Will you remember JESUS CHRIST
ALWAYS has your back?
ALWAYS speaks to bitter storms;
"PEACE, be still," says HE.
Winds of confusion, doubt, and fear
Must BOW obediently.
Through the many tears you cry,
Will you hear HIS voice so sweet?
"My child, I'm with you ALWAYS.
Your needs I'll gladly meet."
"FEAR NOT, for I am with you.
YEA, I shall help you through.
NO WEAPON formed against you
Will I allow to conquer you."
"I am Your CHAMPION, JESUS CHRIST.
In me you shall not fail.
In your weakness ~ I AM STRONG.
My child, YOU SHALL PREVAIL!"
