My friend sent me this by email.
I'm going to split it in 2 parts. The first part will describe how much God cares for us, but the second part will be the funny part.
This, is what was sent to my email.
Part 1:
One night I had a dream. I was standing at the Judgement seat of God as my whole life flashed before my eyes as a series of footsteps on the sands of time.
I saw that there were two sets of footprints, but during the most difficult periods of my life there were only one set of footprints.
I asked God, "You said you will be with me throughout this journey, but why have you deserted me during the most critical times of my life??"
Then God told me, "Son, I did not desert you, I was always with you. The reason why you see only one set of footprints because during those difficult times in your life, I was carrying you."
Amazing isn't it? Look how God cares for us.
Now let us go to the next part (The funny part). This time it is with the project manager.
Part 2:
Another night I had a dream. The project manager assigned me a project to complete it in the period and he promised me that he will be with me all the time.
At the end of the project, my whole project, flashed before my eyes as a series of footsteps on the sands of time.
I saw that there were two sets of footprints, but during the most difficult times in the project there were only one set of footprints.
I asked my project manager, "You said you will be with me throughout the project, but why have you deserted me during the most critical times of the project??"
To which my project manager answered, "Son, I did not desert you, I was always with you.
The reason why you see only one set of footprints is because during those difficult times I was "sitting on your head."
