Obey GOD's law!!

How about the rich young ruler in Matt.19, I believe. He told Jesus I have kept all those Commandments frim my youth and Jesus told him he was right. !,

I think everyone has it twisted in that all I do is think on the Ten Commandments allbthe time. No i believe we HAVE to keep and obey them because they point out our sins and have us RUN to Jesus. We kserve a God who is the same yesterfay, today, and tomorrow. The same God of the old and the new.
Example in Acts with the couple who tried to withhold their possesions and were struck dead

So they were struck dead in front of everyone. The Law is Ten Commandments are giving to us for our good. That is what many people seem to find difficult to understand. For instance read Ps.119:86(faithful); Ps119:96(broad); Prov.6:23(lamp); Prov.3:1-3(long life); Rom.7:12(holy,just,good); 1John5:3( not burdensome) and the list can go on and on.The Law is for our own good. Even our government laws our for our own good like speed limit, seat belt, etc. Whhy wouldnt Gods moral law be good for us?

Please consider what you are teaching others. Right in the Blessings on the Mount starting at Matt. 5 you have JESUS telling US about His Holy moral Law in verse 17-19. Consider all the verses especially verse 19 where it says" if you teach others to break the Law or Commandments(or tell others its done away with, so dont pay them any mind) shall be least in the kingdom of heaven".

Not my words but Jesus words. The Law ir Ten Commandments are for our good. Please consider them for your good. GOD BLESS ;o

1. Jesus preached to people of the Old covenant (Law) practicing Jews and lost people, this was before the cross and before the New Covenant- the church was not born until the Book of Acts.

2. The day the Law was given 3,000 people died.

3. The day Grace was preached 3,000 were saved.

Hello Boan what does that reply about the 3000 have to do with anything. Simply put there is still sin in this world. You agree with that? What is a deofinition of sin in the Bible. 1 John3:4 which means breaking Gods Law. So there still is a Law if sin exists. Cant get more simple than that.

Now why will people disregard Gods standards and misinterpret them because of some false doctrine or teaching that was shown to them. Gods law is for our good. Boan did you even look up the verses i put in my last reply that talks about the blessimgs we get from them. Yes Jesus never sinned or broke Gods Law. I agree with you but as He said himself in Matt 5: 17-20, in the heart of the greatest sermon ever, the beatitudes, He did not come to abolish the Law.

Once again can someone explain to me why 3 times in Revelation is keeping the commandments and having the faith of Jesus mentioned as something that His end time people will be doing?

MARK 12:29-31
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no commandment greater than these.

Didn't sin exist before the law was given? Yes it is simple but some, while they can see the signs they seem to struggle understanding them.

Yes indeed Christ did not need to abolish the law because He fulfilled it completely and satisfied God. The covenant which contained the law was then set aside just as the scriptures say. Can't get more simple than that.

Once again can someone explain to me why 3 times in Revelation is keeping the commandments and having the faith of Jesus mentioned as something that His end time people will be doing?

Do you understand the difference between the Body of Christ and the Bride?
