"Not Very Popular"

"And you will be hated by all for My name's sake.

Politicians, entertainers, educators, the media, and social activists are constantly attacking Christianity. Christian values such as marriage, sanctity of life, honesty, integrity, sexual purity and holiness are portrayed as evil and intolerable. Right is wrong and wrong is considered right. It is culturally acceptable to degrade Christians and their beliefs in the marketplace. And, more and more Christian pastors are being reprimanded and even persecuted for teaching God's word on issues such as homosexuality.

As time goes on, Bible-believing Christians will continually be attacked by the world. Are you strong in the lord to face these impending attacks?

Thought for the Day:
The more you stand up for Christ,
The more you will be attacked.

Am I strong in the Lord.

I am not ashame to talk about the Gospel and I would never deny God or compromise for anyone.

I would consider myself strong, but it is not my strength.
For my help comes from the Lord.

I choose to be a blessing for life.
I want to be counted.

Beautiful, and true.

SLE has a great quote that coincides with that one, and it's given me comfort many times also:

"The nail that stands the tallest gets the hammer."
