Jesus will not Reign in a polluted city who has been tainted by a man, but He will Reign from The New Jerusalem that has not been tainted by corruption of a mortal man’s presence.

13All these died in faith, withoutreceiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessedthat they were strangers and exileson the earth. 14For those who saysuch things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.15And indeed if they had been [k]thinking of that country whichthey left, they would have hadopportunity to return. 16But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God isnot [l]ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.
If the world think that; That The “Son of GOD” and all The Saints are going to sit and “Reign” on that scrounge piece of dirt in the Middle East and a dust covered Throne and think That The Glorified GOD will sit down there. And get His Clothes Dirty, they got another thing coming.
Like they use to say:
“you can take the person out of The Country but you cannot take The Country out of The Person”
And for our slow brothers and sisters in Christ I will translate it for you.
“You can take the Child of GOD out of The World But you cannot Take The ways of the World out of The Child Of God”
For many Long for “Egypt” and also some are just like “Lot’s” wife always Looking Back for “Sodom and Gomorrah”
Longing For The Dwellings on Earth!
We must put our minds in the “Heavenly's”! And kiss that natural Israel bye! Either you are “Born of GOD” or not. Jew, Gentile, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Italian, Scot, Spanish, African, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Hillbilly, Nazi, politician, NATO, Jungle, Dessert, tribesmen, Antarctic, Spaceship hoping, astronauts, Cosmonauts, and everybody else! “You MUST be Born Again”! And There is absolutely No other Way! But One! There is No other Door! it is only One! But you can try another one if you want too

As we Rule upon This Earth we will be Glorified Creatures and dwelling in A Glorified “New Jerusalem” and it is 12 Gates to that City and we can go out and come in. And that New Jerusalem will always be even after The Whole Universe and Heaven has been destroyed for it is A Holy City Built By “GOD”!
And When all The Nations gather together to destroy us “GOD” The Father will Rain Down Fire And Consume all of Them and prepare Them For The Final Judgment!
“For Our GOD is A Consuming Fire”
Judgment By GOD, final destination of The Earth and Angels and they That Dwelled there, No defense, it is a day of “Sentencing”.
I notice in your specification of Jerusalem. You refuse to define whether you are speaking about a corrupted old Jerusalem made of corrupted brick and mortar. And a corrupted man made Throne or a Holy and “Glorified One” that is pure for a pure King and Glorified Saints”. The Old Jerusalem is Not The Beloved City of GOD! For that was only a “Type and Shadow” what was to be! I Do believe, He and The Saints will Rule from The Sky! And That Holy Mountain is not The corrupted that will pass away! We must be Familiar With The Biblical Languages Of The GOD ALMIGHTY! He must convey His messages pertaining to us in “Anthropomorphic” terms and words and ways in which the unsaved and the unfaithful who does not remain in The Vine, To receive “The Sap” That comes from GOD!

Looking back I see that you asked me in reply #9:- 'During the Millennium period, when Jesus is reigning is it not from the New Jerusalem'. Forgive me for not answering it directly; for I have been working my way through what the Scriptures say about the Millennial reign in Revelation 20 and related Scriptures, and have by no means finished yet , but in doing so lost sight of my reason for doing so. I am sorry to be so slow, it must be frustrating.
I do believe that the Overcomers who reign with Christ during the 1,000 years, will do so as 'Priests of God and of Christ' (Revelation 20:6) in the Heavenly City, in Heaven, prior to it's descent (Revelation 21): Just as the redeemed nation of Israel will play their part as Priests unto God among the nations of the earth.

Looking at this company named, 'priests of God and of Christ', who will reign with Him, are not an earthly priesthood, are they, but a heavenly, and minister and reign from their exalted position in the Heavenly Jerusalem. Heaven has its 'Temple' (Revelation 11:19; 15:5-6 & 8), it's 'Ark' (Revelation 11:19), its 'Altar' (Revelation 8:3), its 'Incense' (Revelation 8:3-4) and consequently has a heavenly priesthood.
The 'Overcomer', his suffering, his endurance, his deliverance and his reign as a priest with Christ in the heavenly Jerusalem, is the theme of the Apocalypse, and limits the use of the word 'millennium' so much that every passage from either the Old or New Testament which is labelled 'Millennial' by countless commentators, must be challenged lest by a zeal without knowledge we rob the Millennium of its distinctive character and are found entertaining instead a vision of our own hearts.

No, frustration. Take your time. For many it is kinda difficult I had plenty of time years ago years ago and down through the years has only solidified my position by just reading the text and God the Father The Son and The Holy Spirit instructing, as time have lap. You do not push these things , you already know that. Sometimes just right out of the sky something with the related text opens up, like a bell or Light. Or something comes to mind a word or text, you go right away and look it up. Not knowing where it will lead, it might be in the middle of The night or bright early in the morning. You get up and get her done. And then go back to sleep. No rush. Sweet dreams.
