Take the attacks of the devil seriously. Stand guard. God’s adversary is scheming. He waits for an opportunity to pounce. He’s hungry for fresh rebellion. He thinks he can find that in you. But will you cooperate? If so, why?
God’s plan is different. He sent you a personal invitation with eternal benefits. He said the devil would be an effective hunter, and He said you would endure suffering. But the unshakable will find new strength and profound peace in Jesus. In Him is a great place to be.
This life you lead doesn’t place God last on the list. The key to standing in a shaken world is knowing who you stand for why you choose to obey Him and believing that what He promised is exactly what He will deliver.
Prayer: Father, You’ve done everything necessary to give me life and to rescue me from sin, but I can choose to reject or follow. As I follow You, make me new as I walk through the struggle that leads me home.
