New year

It's new year again
And we have to decide
Do we stay stagnant
Along for the ride
Do we break out
Of the box we are in
Created for power
But hindered by sin.

Now is the time
To make serious plans
Form a relationship
Not be just fans
God is our Father
He's calling us back
To be His disciples
To get back on track.

People are dying
They're going to hell
We could avoid that
If only we'd tell
The story of Jesus
Who died for their soul
Lets all make an effort
To make that our goal.

very subtle, yet soo true. Time is winding up and the closet-Christian
has to step out on Faith in Jesus Name.

I love how you opened this piece up. It spoke to me on a personal level.

For some reason, this stanza took me back to the talents parable. If the world would use thier God-given gifts for HIS Will and not our own, what an impact the world would see. I really like this read. thanks for sharing!

Exhortation abounds...

It's too true that the perception that we sinned
can cause hesitation to grow. Christ took care
of the sin problem once and for all. This enables
us to be followers of Christ, also friends with him.

Let your light so shine.
