I thank each one of you for your kind welcome,i have looked at your profiles and im exited to have this oppuritunity to visit with christians from around the world.As i said im new to this and it may sound weird but im really excited ! oh yeah to answer your question (BYGRACEALONE) i chose zebedee because JESUS called james and john SONS OF THUNDER ,if i remember right ,some thinking ZEBEDEE had a bad temper and just thought it sounded cool(did you know they was the sons of zebedee off the top of your head or did you look Zebedee up?)

Oh, yeah, I'm in the word daily. A lot of people aren't sure about what that scripture means (that they had tempers), but the Lord showed me that. It was encouraging, as I used to have a bad temper and the Lord is changing me in that respect.

It's so encouraging when the Lord shows us that these men who walked before were just like us. Like Elijah. He was a man with a nature just like ours, and yet when he prayed he was so full of faith that even the rain stopped falling for 3 years!

We need to lay hold of that kind of faith, too. It's available for us if we seek it.
