My Understanding ,which I think is Correct!
Seems Simple to me?
HE gives us a NEW SPIRIT, One with , the LORDS mind and nature. So if We live and walk in that mind and spirit? We will NEVER sin or NOT PLEASE OUR LORD , 100%


We can see from Scripture? The church which is our Spirits, Are Perfect !

We see in scripture? The new Creature, inner man,. NEW MAN , Hidden man ,inward man , Are ALL our Spirit, Once Born of GOD!.

So it makes Perfect sense to me, that HE would want us to live though that NEW CREATION.


2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

1Pe 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

2Co 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.



Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

All these SCRIPTURES, Reveal the NEW Spirit, HE gives us. Showing ,AT least to me? That the new Creature can truly be a overcomer and More than a conqueror!


I can see ? How we [being the new creature] CANNOT sin !

But we still live in this evil body , So it has a different nature , than the NEW CREATURE. So unless we Must control it though our SPIRIT[New Creature]

NOW i also found it is very easy to walk and live 100% in our NEW CREATURE! if we will put a little Effort into it !


1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Jn 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.


Here is the problem ?
Co 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
This scripture tells us? the outward mind is in control.

But, If we walk and live though the mind of the hidden man [our spirit]
Then the outer mind is no longer in control


Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.




WE ONLY Follow our LORD, We do not walk in HIM.We have our own Spirit to live though .And it will always follow HIM 100% .


Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding your meaning here, but I simply do not agree with your statement "We do not walk in Him. We have our own Spirit to live through."

Scripture clearly tells us that when we are saved we become a new creature, washed in Christ's blood and yes this gives us a new spirit, however, scripture tells us also that Christ comes into us in the form of the Holy Spirit. He is in us. We become a vessel containing Him. Our Christian walk from then on is not just something we do separate from God, Christ or the Holy Spirit. It is as scripture says "For it is God who works in us to will and to do His good pleasure." (Phil 2:13)

Now how does He do that you ask? God works through Christ who is in us and Christ is in us by the Holy Spirit that we receive at salvation. Why else and how else could paul say to the colossians in chater 1 verses 27-29

"27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.


Paul is telling them that they have Christ in them and that is their hope of attaining the glory of heaven.

Now let us look at what Christ himself taught.

John 15:2-8
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

John 17:22-23

Now let us return to Paul's gospels:

Rom 8:10-14
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

To me these scriptures mean that we are a living vessel of "Christ in us" through the Holy Spirit "in us," and just as God was in Christ, Christ is in us by the Holy Spirit and therefore God is in us "to will and to do His good pleasure!" Because as Christ said about the branches above, "without Him we can do nothing!"

We must consider further;

1 Cor 3:16-18
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.


2 Cor 6:16-18
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Gal 2:20
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Now finally returning to Christ speaking in Revelation;

Rev 3:20-21
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

What door is Christ talking about? The door to our hearts! How else do we come to salvation,but by the drawing of the Holy Spirit and by the opening of our hearts to Christ to come in and be our Saviour!


It is clear to me from these scriptures that I must surrender to Christ to become saved and then daily I must surrender to the leading of His Holy Spirit within me so that I may "walk in the Spirit of God!"; not in my own spirit. For if I walk in my own spirit then I am believing that it is by my works that I am walking in the Spirit and clearly from these scriptures it is NOT by My works at all, but by the working of God and Christ in me and through the Holy Spirit in me that I walk in the Spirit.

Christianity is a choice. First a choice that chooses Christ as our Saviour, by which Christ's sacrifice redeems us, but also purchases us for God, frees us from the devil. Second comes our daily choice to walk by the Spirit of God, allowing Him to lead us daily. By allowing Him to lead us we walk after the Spirit.

I do nothing in my own strength, nothing by my own spirit. I do everything by the leading of the Holy Spirit which allows God and Christ to dwell within me and to do their will in and through me.

May Almighty God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit descend upon you, bless you and grant you peace.

You see BOB, Which ,you must agree?

We grow in our spirit, because we make effort ,HE does not force us to grow, But wants us to. Yes I totally agree HE keeps us , as far as eternal life!
Yet as far as growing or receiving spiritual gifts or the signs and wonders .It is up to US!

We cannot put the fault on our MASTER for our weaknesses or because we are not seeing the things in our lives, that HE always has declared we would!


We will be rewarded by our works, no work? No rewards!


1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:


Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
SHOWING in my MIND, These have Not grown, Because, They are NOT trying to.He will not force us to gain the Many free heavenly gifts HE has for the church .


WHEN we are BORN of GOD, BORN -AGAIN ,Born from above, BORN of OUR SPIRIT! All the SAME HEAVENLY birth! We are babies in our Spiriot and Need to grow. We grow on HIS LIVING WORD.

If we do not study the bible and hear The HOLY GHOST , Then ,We do not grow in our spirit and are near worthless to the LORD. As HE cannot use us very much!


Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskillfull in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

IT is up to us!
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We cannot blame GOD for the many problems ,WE bring into our lives and the needless suffering, we cause ,by NOT ASKING the HOLY GHOST orb listening to HIM

Many of GODS HOLY KIDS , die before there time, because of NOT knowing the TRUTH!

Our LORD has provided All things for us.It is up to us , To got those things ,HE has Already provided.

Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

GOD is NO respecter of persons, Meaning What He has given others is ours also.

We see ?The first church started with 12 men ,who gave there all for our LORD! They almost conquerored the entire world.
Yet we boast millions and cannot conqueror our nation ,our cities ,many not there homes, WHY?

The teaching have changed!
The church is still the perfect church, the HOLY GHOST has not changed, we have allowed false and weak teaching to fill our minds with failure!


He has declared already and it cannot be changed.
WE are More than conquerors and over comers!

The problem is with us!

I have lived the new testament, So i know if a being like me .can have all the things HE said in my life, Then of course, any in the body of CHRIST JESUS can also.

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Heb 4:11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.


Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

These BOTH are TRUE experiences

I"ll tell you? If we FAST , I found three full days water only, We will walk and live 100% in our Spirit. Then we hear the LORD perfectly. Of course THE LORD SAID? WE would fast!

even at that i found people will try a easy was of doing it and get no real results.

Mat 9:15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.


Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

THIS scripture tells us? Anything that has a hold on us, will be broken ,if we fast.

Isa 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rearward.

That scripture tells us , we will be healed and our mind will be clear!


Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.

This scripture tells us ,We will hear HIM CLEARLY!

this is how I see it in part ,because of course ,there is much more truth for us ,if we seek it from the HOLY GHOST .


1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Joh 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

THESE two scriptures tell us?THE LORD HIMSELF wants to teach EACH of HIS CHILDREN!


1Jn 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
This scripture tells ,us it is the HOLY GHOSTS desire to teach us ,everything we want to know of Heaven and earth.

I found it true as He will even reveal the thoughts of other for us.


Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
THIS scripture tells us the end results of growing in our lORD for each of US!





2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

This scripture tells us to be friends with the HOLY GHOST using HIM always to guide and teach us .


1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

GOD has SO much for each of us, Most never see in there lives.

This is just the way i see it. And know I am correct!

satan entered my room ,the HOLY GHOST started leaving me,I said LORD make him go.
He said, I cannot you must do this. I said?But LORD ,i am but a weak man , I cannot , HE said? you must.
Full of fear ,I said?GET OUT IN THE NAME of JESUS CHRIST. satan left quickly.

We must reject the devil ourselves .HE has given us to power , in the mighty name of our LORD!

Of course we have to grow through the washing of the Word and our daily commitment to trust and obey.

It is certain that we will receive trials, some of them will require us to make a choice and to act on faith. Certainly relying on the authority of the finished work of Christ and the Word of God will make the devil flee.

It was not entirely clear to me, until your response, whether you were saying that we are to rely on ourselves and our own spirit, which I saw as somewhat confusing. You have, however, clarified and I thank you.

As I said in my post, I may have misunderstood your intent, but I thought what I posted would help clarify the issue for developing Christian minds. I meant no offense and I apologize if it in any way offended you.

I thoroughly understand entering into God's rest. I teach and preach on it regularly.

As James said and I agree with what you said in your reply, works that are stimulated by faith are rewarded, most certainly I agree that no works ='s no rewards.

I believe that we both understand each other a bit better.
