Hi Brother Faithful Son, it saddens me to read this. You can receive the direct answer or one wrapped up with frills on. But me, I am more of a person to give direct answers and help, then to wrap it up with pretty bows and ribbons, but saying that, I do say this with love.
You need to spend more time in prayer, ask and speak to God so that you can walk in His power. It's there for you. No-one can overcome sinful ways, without walking in His power. You have been given the gift of the holy spirit and now it's time to manifest the power of that gift, which is also available to you and any other Christian. You need to go to prayer and spend time talking to our Father, so that you can walk in that power and just keep asking, until He gives it to you. He will give it you, if you ask, I can promise you that. Jesus said so in scripture.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
That power is for you to identify and discern the spiritual realm, and rebuke any unclean spirits, in Jesus' name.
Luk 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Secondly, I know you want to change, so you need to say that to God in prayer too. Everyday in prayer, tell Him you want to be more like His son (I mean Jesus), you want to walk like His son, and talk like His son.
Now, we all get frustrated with all these evil unclean spirits, but it's the Spirit of God, which can only get rid of them. You are not possessed with any of these unclean spirits, so don't think you are. You are just listening to them, instead of listening to the Spirit of God, the key it to listen to the Spirit of God and not the other spirits. It difficult I know, but you need to persevere and fight.
I have just spent two days, going to our Father, asking Him to help me with a voice that wants me to curse God. It's been so real, it seems as if I am saying it, it has upset me, it has hurt me, I have got frightened over it, and it has really messed me up. But God is far greater and will see us through, so that we won't be tempted too far.
1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Just remember, when Jesus received the holy spirit, he too was led by the spirit and went straight into the wilderness and was tempted by the devil for a season.
Mat 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
So this too, is going to happen to you, I and every other Christian. We are not immune. But, God has given us a more powerful spirit and we need to learn how to use that power. Also the spirit of the sword is the Word of God, so fight back with scriptures too.
So when situations (the wilderness) like this come up, like what happened to you last night, and I know you feel you were protecting your brothers girlfriend, but when that anger rises or temptation arises, you need to speak to God immediately and ask Him to help you in His power.
If you are out, like you were, go to the men’s room and pray, and ask God how you should deal with it. Just get up from the table and excuse yourself.
