Dear sister Rachel I will say some things to you here,and some others in a P.M. For all of us here as well as my sister Rachel. Ever feel as if you need a direct line to Jesus,but the line seems always busy?hehe I think for most of us who love our Jesus so much,this is a given for us. So while we wait to make another call to him to personally attend to us,we are thankful for his Word. For some believers this comfort is not long lasted, because our mind is still on the unsolved problem,we wish to be comforted in!!
( 2 cor 1:3-7) Then we write on here,for we do know Jesus is in so many here,and perhaps a word,any word from another will bring more sunshine to the clouds we seem to find ourselves in. So we hope and we pray,seems we are always in this frame of mind these days. Some believe but also need some help in there unbelief.( mark 9:23-24) I have, like many of you found myself here a few times,i would think by now I never would!! So i get very angry at myself! For I have found out in my own life that anger is far better then dis-pair,giving my self a kick now and again helps my mind to remember what I have been taught,and to focus my mind on the finished me, rather then the unfinished me.
The enemy stops by from time to time,to check on me. LOL Of course he never looks to help, but rather to find weakness to devour me! LOL ( 1 peter 5:8) Some believers can grow tired of resisting him,that is what he is counting on!( verse 9) When we speak God's word and not ours we find verse 10 takes hold! And from this the devil does what he does best,he flees and we in Christ Jesus become more and more established in him! And then we think why were we so worried to start with?
Jesus never forsakes us!! Jesus ALWAYS LOVES US!! So why do I sometimes look to use my feeling and emotions,which have never done me much good to believe in and for my need??LOL Well like the enemy, the flesh also checks up on us to! Hoping to get us to focus on the problem rather then the solution,hoping to bring tears to our eyes rather then joy in believing our Lord Jesus!! ( rom 15:13) As if tears can help us.Tears are good for a release,but again that release only lasts for a short time,as we find out. SO!!
How does Jesus himself lift us up? How does Jesus bring lasting comfort and resolve to our life? ( john 12:32) Here in this verse we find Jesus talking about his own death,and for us to know that until we are willing to die to ourselves and live upon the Word he gave us to live upon,we can never mature.But if we continue to lift up our Jesus!! ( psalm 100:1-5) And do his very will!!( 1 thess 5:18) Our doom and gloom, become joy and gladness!! AND!!! We see God's GOODNESS!!! So we never despair!!( psalm 27:13!!!)
It sure does take discipline,for in the world we have been taught,if it quacks like a duck,and looks like a duck,it must be a duck!! hehe But there are some unseen things about this object we never take thought of!( 2 cor 4:16-18!!) What is unseen, at the present is our victory through our Jesus! Victory from our Jesus goes beyond what we do see,and moves to a realm Jesus himself wishes for us to spend much more time in! His Domain!
Sister Rachel we are not looking to conquer!! We already HAVE CONQUERED!!! ( rom 8:37!!) So we need to look from a position we in Christ are already at! But to do this,we need to focus our mind on what has already been accomplished, and established by our LOVING Jesus himself for us! Fear not! But rather sister have strong courage!!( deut 31:8) The keys to the Kingdom of God have already been given us,we just have to find the correct key to open that part of the kingdom of God we are seeking! ( matt 16:19!!) Keys to the Kingdom are for both opening and closing!! (verse 19)
But what good is any key if we do not use them?? ( heb 10:36) Endurance good sister is finding the correct key to open a door you already have power to open! Jesus gave us this power!!( Luke 10:19-20) Sometimes we have the right key, but someone is in our way!! The enemy can stand before us,and we must remove him to open the door! We know our own words cannot do this, so we use the very power Jesus himself gave his children to open that door with! USE HIS WORDS SIS!! That is the KEY! You will know when he is removed,because you will be able to insert the key Jesus gave you! And then!! hehe It is a cakewalk!!
For from opening the door, Jesus is there, SMILING BIG at you!! And says so gentile to you,if I would have broken you free the moment you had need,how would i have ever been able to draw near to you? ( 1 peter 1:5-9) And now dear sister whom I have loved from the beginning, your joy is made full because now you can go and help some other brother and sister who has the same need!!( John 15:11-13) And we sister understand what we first could not see! And are so very thankful to our Jesus for his never ending love and comfort!! amen! How can we ever grow,if we are never instructed?? Indeed!
