Need help with a queston...

Im currently studying Ministry and Theology and I have a question that I'm having trouble with. I hope someone can help me...

Now, we know that scripture never singles out one of God's attributes as more important than the rest. eg: God is light (1 John 1:5) and God is love (1 John 4:8) . He is not part light and part love; He is, at all time and in all ways, both light and love (Wayne Grudem, Christian Beliefs)

So the question is: What are some of the dangers in considering one of God's attributes more important than all the others?

Can anyone help out with the anwer to this question

If one considers "love" as the primary attribute of God
to the exclusion of other characteristics. Then a confused
portrait of God is painted, confusion abounds. You may
have heard the following;

"if God loves us why are there so many wars"

An often repeated complaint against Christians.

The error is the omission of the holiness of God
combined with love. Hence, God has bound man over
to disobedience due to His holiness. God does not
allow moral disobedience in His universe, God judges,
His holiness demands judgement. Thus man is fallen
and wars result.

What concerns me the most is that theology is
littered with this very problem. Particular attributes
of God have more weight than others, doctrines
are designed on these characteristics.

For example in Calvinism the sovereignty of God is scaled up.
Humans are predestined to either salvation or left
to damnation as a consequence of God's will. There is no
human decision in this process.

On the other hand the opposing view puts extreme
importance on human freewill reducing God's
sovereignty to some extent.

These are theologies that result from the emphasis
on different aspects of God's attributes.

I guess the danger would be in limiting GOD. He is ALL things, and perfect in ALL those things. God is NOT ruled by any one attribute, as we could be. As an Omnipotent being, ALL things come into play when He makes a decision, including His Omniscience and Omnipresence. God may manifest Himself to us as three in one, but HE is only ONE God. Comprehension is at best, on the surface with us. We lack the full ability to truly understand who GOD fully is, because we cannot be like Him, ever. Human reasoning will say "well if God is so and so, why does He do so and so." This is OUR lack of fully comprehending GOD, NOT His inability to do things properly. Only the people who are NOT fully committed to God, or unbelievers, think that way.
