Hello all. It's time for an update.

I received a letter from my mom and she told me that she's been Ross' (my step dad) caregiver for awhile and hadn't gotten out to get my gift. My mom's a very generous person so for her this is hard, but she knows she needs to be with Ross. Then, she continued to say that we should keep him in our prayers the he would get well soon (huge smiley in the letter) or that he goes home to heaven. It made me tear up like I'm doing now.

We are hopefully going to go to PA (which is about 4 and a half hours away) to a family reunion to see family who will be returning to their mission field for four years and to see Ross. It may be the last time.

Just pray. I know God has a plan and right now I can't see the path clear, but He hasn't left my side and He's still holding my hand. It's just amazing to see Ross and my mom say these things.

Stand on the rock, Mom and Ross. He will not let you falter!

Again thank you for the prayers!

Ross and family are still in my prayers, for healing, grace, compassion and peace. For what it's worth, the example of their faith and courage through their harsh ordeal is inspiring to me. I pray also that God blesses and comforts you all, because the part about Ross getting well soon or going home to heaven is not easy on loved ones, even though we want the best for them and don't want them to suffer. Father, we know all things are possible with you. If it be your will, Lord please remove the cancer from Ross's body and heal him. If it be your will to take him home, Lord I ask you to take away his pain and give him peace, give comfort to Ross's family and hold them tight in your arms. I ask this in your Son Jesus's name believing. Amen.

To answer your question, not that I know of. My husband and I live about 4 and a half hours from them and I wouldn't even know how to bring it up over the phone. I wouldn't know if they could even get to where they could have that kind of treatment used.
