My Simple Prayer

My Simple Prayer I Daily Ask of You

Lord I've always wanted to be of help any way I can,
From the little children to the adult's and homeless friends,
It has always been my dream to help one another through
Isn't that what Jesus asked of me and us to do?

Lord I am sorry I have failed you many times,
Sometimes the mountains were so difficult to climb
So I am asking you Jesus, to forgive my failures once again
And heal this broken heart that's bleeding from within

Your little children Lord they have no self defense
The homeless never seem to have any real close friends
No one to care for them, or feed and clothe them too
These are some of the things I hope that I may do

Some need safe housing Lord from their abusive men
Some need medicine to help them survive and live
Some just need you Lord in each their own special way,
I'm asking you Jesus may I help you help them today?

I am nothing without you Lord as it says in John 15:5
And I know with out you Lord I don't feel alive,
It's not for my glory Lord that part is just for you
I'm asking you to teach me and show me what to do
Let this be my simple prayer I daily ask of you.

Amen.

Thank you my brother for sharing. GOd is so using you my friend. Keep holding on to Jesus as He will never you go. Jesus will guide your steps as you walk with HIM

Monte is a man who loves the Lord all day long, forever praising His name and gives all credit to the loving and saving grace of God in Jesus Christ the Lord. A humble man who shares his love for Christ Jesus with others, only wanting to give glory to God.

And, yes, the Lord will never let me go, nor you... nor anyone who comes to Him, to seek His Salvation and joy.
