WHO
Who stopped the wind from blowing,
And calmed the raging sea?
Who caused the lame to walk again,
And made the blind to see?
Who drove demons out of man,
And called the dead to life?
Who lived as man yet never sinned,
None but Jesus Christ!
Who poured His blood to ransom,
Both friends and enemies?
Who loved without conditions,
And gave us victory?
Who ever lives to intercede,
So we could be like Him?
None but the Son in whom we trust;
Our God and coming King!
TREE OF LIFE
Oh how handsome and how lovely;
None compares to such beauty I see;
My darling Jesus loving me,
As He hanged dying on a tree.
His blood poured forth as ransom;
To the end, He loved completely.
The cursed cross has now become,
A Tree of Life for me,
Just more of Him is all I need;
Death to the flesh I seek.
Let nothing now separate me,
From the cross I carry daily.
_________
Philippians 3:10-11 I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
