Please pray my husband stops gambling. He stopped drinking but now he is playing keno. We need every dollar to save for us to move. It seems like one thing after another. I know God has something special for us to do. Between the ex-grlfrnd, the gambling, the angry son, the lack of transportation, our bills being maxed due to his help paying the ex-grlfrnds bills, the mid life depression, the wondering if he still wants to be married, the not knowing if he can stay at the inlaws anymore, it goes on and on. I definitely am not giving up now. It seems like the enemy is fighting hard so I know God has something special for us to do. I am hanging on. Focusing on GOD. Please pray for us that we do GODS WILL.

Read 1st Peter about suffering.
Also know that when you are doing very good in your walk with the Lord, the enemy will throw everything he can your way.

So do not be anxious and remember that the Bible says that worry will not add a single day to your life.

Also God has not given us a spirit of fear but of sound mind.

I know its not easy but try to trust in the Lord to deliver your family from this situation.

Pray for your husband. (especially if you do not feel like it)

Not like oh please make him stop this.

But pray for his wellbeing and that his walk with the Lord will improve.
And that his eyes will be opened and that the Lord will have the Holy Spirit convict your husband of his behavior.
Tell the Lord that you release your husband to his care.

That way it is not a selfish prayer.
Often when we pray non selfish prayer, the Lord does not only change the person prayed for, but also us and our vieuw of the other person.
Try to ask God for forgiveness for any possible unforgiveness you may possibly have toward your husband...and than start praying for your husband.
It is alright to tell God you are angry too, ya know.

Ok i will keep you in my prayers.
You can send me a private message if you want.
And by the way...stormie omartian has a book you may enjoy.
The power of a praying wife.

She has lots of good tips, from her own experience with a bad marriage.
It helps me too.
I have been praying with the tips she gives and i can alreay see some changes in my own life.

God Bless you.
