It seems Satan is "among"st the sons of God. Most scholars believe in this context.. sons of God are angels.

God is spirit and spirit has no gender or ethnicity. He was revealing who God is to a Patriarchal Culture and thus had to be revealed as "masculine" to catch the respect and identity of these people. When God creates humanity in His own image He creates them Male AND Female...in the image of God created He THEM. When He formed them He formed the male first but this was not so in creation. Creation (bara) precedes formation (Yatzar - to make) in the Scriptures. We sewe the same sequence with land plants (tho I am sure it is true of all plants even those in the seas).

No! What you were here, you will be. God existed before gender. The image of God, in which we were created was manifest as male AND female, and NO I am NOT saying God is a Hernaphrodite. And NO this is not some Gnostic bull. God has the spiritual qualities of both. In temporal creation. they are separated. Physical genders were created for the purpose of pro-Creation. if God is a male then males are superior and like God and women are not.
