Please pray for my family.

Since my husband started drinking again in Sept 2008 our lives have been a mess.

He started an affair with his ex girlfriend who is the mother of his 23 yr old son. He hadn’t been in a relationship with her for almost 17 yrs.
Me and my husband have been together 16 yrs. I forgave him but he still sees her but not on a romantic level, not by her doing though. She wants to have a romantic relationship with him. I just pray my husband listens to God.

I don’t know what Gods plan is but I do know he doesn’t split families apart because somebody else wants your husband.

His ex-girlfriend seems to think that God sent my husband back to her. They were never married to each other. She was married to someone before she dated my husband. She wants my husband to divorce me and marry her. I am so tired of this whole situation. I wish my husband could see that any contact with this woman is dangerous to him. She is very selfish and manipulating and spreads her poison. Our bills are behind because of my husband helping her financially. Helping to pay her rent etc, when her spoiled 23 yr old son needs to step up to the plate and realize you cant live anywhere for free. He needs to help his mom pay rent since he’s staying with her and he has his own car.

I love my husband unconditionally but I told him that I am not living with this woman in my life for the rest of my life.
I pray for her but she is very toxic and can not be trusted. I don’t live the way she does with lies and deceit and plotting evil against others. He’s caught her in many lies but continues to associate with her. She has caused so much damage between me and my step son. He doesn’t even say hello to me, just ignores me because his mother tells him that my husband and her are going to be together again. He thinks Im in the way.

This is my husband who I vowed in front of God to love and honor in sickness and in health till death do us part. I am asking God to please show me what I need to do regarding this whole mess.

I am waiting for God to work this out because I am powerless over people, places, things etc. My husband has stopped drinking but is still smoking cigarettes.

I pray for him to continue to turn his life over to God.

I worry about him because she doesn’t mean him any good. She says she loves him but it’s a selfish love.

I pray I can hold on to see the finished product (marriage restored). I believe my husband is the one God had intended for me to marry. It seems like the devil is trying to destroy marriages all around the world. I refuse to give up on my marriage. God blessed me with my husband and I intend to stay married to him until death do us part.

I also request prayer for my 15 yr old son who was affected by all this. God is the only one that can restore my family. I trust in him alone. Thank you for your prayers.

Heavenly Father I praise you for you are the God that healeth, you are the God that preserveth and you are the God of peace.
I thank you for sending the comforter, the Holy Spirit who directs our paths.

I bring this sister to you right now, Lord fill her with your peace. Remove all negative thoughts she might have against this woman, so she will have a pure heart and mind to hear your voice. Lord you hear the cries of your people, you know her needs and desires.

Create in her a clean heart and renew a right spirit within, so she can worship you despite the way things look and despite the opposition she might face.

Let the joy of salvation fill her right now, give her the strength and the words to speak. Give her the wisdom and the discernment needed in this situation. Silent the deceiving spirits and tongues that brings discouragement. Give her a song of praise daily.

Father you know them by name and you know the details. Father break the chains that hold her husband in bondage to this woman. Remove the blindfolds so he can see the fruits of his actions. So he will step up and be a Godly father and husband.

Father salvation is for all so I pray for this woman, help her to start a new life, surround her with christians who will bring her to You. Help her to be a positive role model for her son. Remove that spirit of adultery from her heart. Whatever insecurities or emotional issues she might have heal her Lord.

I come against the spirit of lust, fornication, confusion, adultery, hatred and depression in the name of Jesus.

Lord I pray for the siblings that you will fill them with your love, that you would bind this family together, despite their differences.

Take control and let your will be done.
