This is the story of how one summer about 5 years ago God answered my prayer to Him!
I was leaving the mall one day that summer and passing the parking lot I saw a Canada goose. She (I think it was a girl) was drinking from a very dirty puddle, so I decided to help her. So I went to Harveys across the road and waited in line. I ordered a burger with nothing on it and I asked for a paper soup bowl full of water. The employee looked at me kinda strange and put some water in the bowl. Then I left and walked back across the road praying that the goose wouldn't fly away. Of course it did as soon as I got across the road. So I dumped the water out and threw out the bowl. I didn't really want the burger so I just carried it with me. In my town there is a pathway that connects my street with another and along it there is a river that is down a little hill from the path. I headed for that path to walk home and on the way I prayed, Lord please send me a hungry little animal so that I can give it the burger. I started nibbling on it while I walked along and started down the path. Ahead of me I saw a little brown duck waddle up from the hill and stand on the path. It just stood there looking at me and waiting. So when I got close, I tossed it the burger and watched it eat. I thanked the Lord and was so happy that He cared enough to hear me. That was the only time that I can recall that I saw a duck walk up to the path and stand there. This was my answered prayer. If you had seen the way the duck stood there waiting for me to come maybe you would get a better picture of this. Anyways thats my story!
