messianic jews

has any one got feed back on messianic jews?
jesus was a jew and it is obvious from the gospels that he loved his religion and its festivals.
could it be a very good thing to be a messianic jew?

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Abraham was a jewish man, but anyone that belongs to Christ has taken the seed of Abraham. So in the eyes of God it does not matter if you are a jew or a gentile, if you are reborn under the Blood of Christ you have taken the seed of Abraham promised by God.

I have met Messianic Jews and been to one of their services (a few years ago now). It was wonderful, they blew the shofar and all...a really positive and wonderful experience for me. I believe many more Jewish people will come to know Christ as Messiah and I pray for them and Israel regularly. They gave us much as the 'root' of our Christian faith and the examples/prophecies in the Old Testament lead to the New. I have no 'Jewishness' in me only that I love the same Lord and Messiah promised to both Jews and gentiles.
