Did you know about 150,000 people will die today? Did you know a lot of them will be going to hell? It's sad to say, but it's the truth. It breaks my heart to even think about it. As you read this article there is probably someone dying and going to hell.

Matthew 7:14
"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

I see so many Christians, including myself, sitting at home studying God's word, going to church, praying and etc, but hardly ever witness to the lost. Most of the time we are sitting in our comfort zone when we need to be out there witnessing and leading people to the Lord. We believe in hell, yet we don't act like it most of the time. I think if we really thought about how many people are dying and going to hell we'd feel the need to witness more. The Bible tells us clearly to witness to the lost and make disciples.

Matthew 28:19-20
19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

We can witness where we live and now we can even witness to people of all nations without traveling. We have been blessed with the internet. With the internet we can talk to people from all different countries.

Here lately I have been witnessing to people on Myspace that are atheists and agnostics. Some of them curse me out and some of them thank me for taking the time to talk to them and answer questions they have about God. Most of the time when the people who curse me out see that I'm not judging them and care about their eternal choice, they apologize for their behavior. They are so use to people judging them and talking about them bad. As Christians we should spread the gospel with the love of Jesus, not with hate. We need to consider that we all sin and we all need prayer and guidance, not hateful words.

Matthew 7:2-3
2 "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
3 "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" KJV

I pray that this article may open some eyes and help people realize the importance of witnessing to the lost. God put this on my heart and I also needed to hear this message. We need to also help Christians that are falling away from the Lord by praying and kind words of guidance.

God Bless, Your Brother in Christ, Cody

Jesus Saves

I totally agree, everywhere we go we must spread the gospel. Not everyone is brave that's why there are tracts.

Don't get the tracts that say in front " You're going to hell ", most people are turned off and get offended. Pray and ask God to show you the right tracts. Chick tracts for me are very helpful, they carry life stories and end with the Gospel.

Cody this has been a great read and eye opener. I applaud you in your efforts on myspace, that's a battle field. God is using you and we all need to have that desire for the lost.

I think we spend to much time trying to change the world, forgetting about the people who live in it.

We must walk in love, and share the gift of salvation.

Good direction!

I believe that we as Christians need to live all of our life for Christ. That means witnessing to others but it also means holding the will of God in our consciousness.

I just got in trouble with a New Aged person on another web site because I said that people need to be filled with the truth and not be afraid of the devil. I got scolded on line...

A few weeks ago I spoke to a situation where there was a man who is a drug addict and a criminal around my house. I never said a word to him or his family. I "sensed" that the only way this man will ever accept Christ is if he gets put in prison and gets off drugs. Yesterday he went to court and was put in jail for possession of cocaine. I believe this is his first step in receiving Christ and that it was a direct result of what I "spoke" into being.

I know I am one of being guilty of not being bold for the Lord. The Lord told me that if his children were proclaiming the Gospel, in America, that they would be suffering some sort of persecution.
Not murders or beheadings but scoffing and possibly being jailed.

It is a leap of faith to boldly proclaim the Gospel wherever we go.

Amen, Rog. I'm so guilty of not being bold when I've needed to also. The thing to do is put our trust in God and know that He will give us the strength if it is His will. We must always witness with the Holy Spirit because that is the only thing that will change people.

Psalm 40:4
"Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust."

John 16:13
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
KJV

I am guilty of this. This post makes me realise I must try to do more no matter the cost. Show good examples to them in the way you live. Sometimes that gets their attention more so than words.

Thanks for this wonderful read. I do see His light shining through you, the Word tells us to speak His Word with boldness, and most of us are afraid in doing so. I have often thought of quitting, but that would mean the devil would have won, and I am not going to allow that. We all need to speak up, give out tracts, devotionals, emails or anything which we can think of, in helping and spreading the Gospel. I also think encouraging our fellow believers to continue with this is just as important, as we all need that encouragement.

You know, if more Christians did do this, you know it would be much easier, we would not come across many hindrances or feel ashamed, which I think is a lot of the problem. I also feel status and culture still plays a heavy burden in getting the message out, God does not look at those things, and people need to realize this and start reading the Word. One needs to deny them selves and walk as Jesus walked.

I have often thought this, when Jesus came here, if he had never spoken a word to no-one, where would we all be today, in a right mess that's what I think. Knowing what Jesus did for us, also helps me to carry on, as God needs to work through you, me and everyone else, so that the message can get out there to His people. He want's all of us to be saved. I am no more special then the next person, we were all lost and sinful once, and God is there to help us.

You really do inspire and encourage me to keep on going, as it can get hard sometimes.

God gets all the glory, because we can't do nothing without Him.

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psa 18:39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

Psa 21:13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

God Bless you Cody.
