i posted a letter to butch in devotionals . i think i put it in the wrong place so bear with me as i explain .my good friend since childhood died 1-11-13 we went through hell togather ....drugs sex rock and roll ..divorced parents on both sides follwed by our own failures in that matter as adults..we went differnt paths in 2006....we stayed in touch and still called each other brother and friend ..I lost the oldest friend i had .! now the results of his death have been realeased and it shows VODKA AND MORPHINE .! im crushed that he didnt try to reach out to me..!! :cry-animated:but i Pray that in his last moments he reached out to God to find peace before he passed ..ill never know till i reach heaven ..Now the little bar that he hung out at has ask me to speak at a memeorial for him when they set it up ..Please pray that God give me the right words to led others from this hopeless pit my friend was in that they may see the glory of God and no longer look through the bottom of a beer bottle..for hope that dosent exist there...may i give them the hope of living water when the time comes ..youre prayers are needed and may you be blessed for holding me up before God at this time......Rev

Sorry for your loss brother. I will pray that you be comforted over the loss and the Holy Spirit find the best words to use in your words at the memorial!

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

You are in my prayers brother at this time of loss and for your speech at his memorial

Bless you

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer
Psalm 19:14
