Mathew 15-24 ??

I have always been perplexed by this verse in scripture. When we look at what Jesus came to do, we see that he came to die as a perfect sacrifice for everyone, so that, all who call him Lord could have eternal life. (There is no other way to the Father except through Jesus). So it seems to me he came for everyone. So what exactly does this verse mean??? could be as simple as he came TO Isreal but came FOR everyone??? Could it mean all who call on him are part of a spiritual Isreal that he was referring to? He did also come to fulfill the law of the physical Isreal, how is that tied into this verse? all thoughts greatly appreciated

"Lost house of Israel" is referring to Ephraim, the ten northern tribes. We're a "wild olive tree" grafted into the Commonwealth of Israel. There's no "spiritual Israel", it's not traced by ancestry, for Israel was a "mixed multitude" to begin with at the Exodus.

By the way, Commonwealth of Israel is not modern state of Israel in the Holy Land. Most of modern Israelites are known as Ashkenazi Jews, if you check the Table of Nations in Gen. 10, you'll see that Ashkenaz was the eldest son of Gomer, grandson of Japhath, great-grandson of Noah, whereas Judah was a great-grandson of Abraham, who was a descendant of Shem. A lot of real Jews actually fled to Northern Africa and converted to Islam so they could be spared from muslim persecution. The two houses of Israel are Ephraim and Judah, symbolized by two olive trees, of which Ephraim is the Lost House and the Prodigal Son. They are scattered all around the world till this day, but in the end, all will come to Yeshua.
