I can't even imagine giving any title to myself or another
At times I have felt like I have been cursed with all this pain and tragedy that has been on this path that I have walked but it's not I have all the time I want to spend with YH I just keep praying please YH to keep me on his path to widen my path a bit so I don't step off it so easily I ask for the Spiritual Strength we r going to need for what's upon us I knew something was coming cause right before the covid hit He said watch them false preachers will not be fed by my children n then bam all the temples(churches) shut down
He has shown me that the beast has obtained the power of the dragon and something wicked this way is already here
I was in the darkness for a long time I've meant and dealt with many evils in the world n He brought me through n that's while I had my back turned from Him
Apologies for the long write idk why I do that

But no I can't imagine giving me or another any title that will exhalt or degrade for we r all brothers n sisters n I shall treat those I come in contact with as such

Who r my brothers and sisters those who do the will of the Father

But a Calvinist is never Quick to claim they are a “Calvinist” or student of “Reformed Theology”!

Because at that moment, The Masses will proclaim! “BURN him to The Stake” and Take his Head off!

It is our History! For we are “The REFORMERS”!
Sometimes called “The puritans”, The Huguenots” The Pilgrims, that brought The Gospel According to Jesus Christ to Canada and The New World! And establish The Sunday Schools, and public schools and prescribe the Bible as It’s Text book!

And The Devil and all of His demons hate us with a Vengeance of what The Calvinist Has brought into World! From one Continent to another!

And The Whole World hate us! From every corner crack and Cranny!

Dear Sister Twistie,
I am curious if one were to ask one a question and one replied with "I am of the Way".
Is that titling oneself, or just identifying in whose path you are following?

Also, by you quote you believe that a person is "exalting" themselves by titling. If one were to reply "I am a sinner". Might that not be perceived as prideful, since that goes without saying?

With all that being said, is the person truly exalting themselves, or just identifying who they belong to? Which depending on who they are talking to...Protestant to Catholic, or Catholic to Protestant...it might be received in the belief that they are "low" and not "exalted".

Would "I am a believer" be acceptable?

There are many ways to take this, without it being prideful, at least in oneself. I will be honest, that I take some pride in belonging to the Lord Jesus Christ, because of who He is, and not because of who I am.

Anyway, interesting, and thank-you for sharing your thoughts.

Regardless it's exalting n to call oneself a sinner wen one claims they r in the Spirit shows they r still in the flesh n passing judgment upon themselves which is not of Him either

If one can't see whom they r in Him I'd say pray
People use words frivolously cause they don't understand how precious their words are

Can I say I am sinless in the flesh nope can I say I am nope I'm unworthy

I can only speak wat is revealed to me from Most High I don't debate so any wondering one gots they need to take that up with YH
Even the Messiah claimed no religious denomination that's man's work

To answer your question on listening to old sermons. I guess I go further back at times, since I do read some of the old sermons, which pre-date recording.
For me anyway, listening to them, when your hearing is like mine, doesn't always translate well.
Do you have some suggestions, that I might give it a try with?

Dear sister I highlighted a part, that put a smile on my face, and a sadness of spirit for you, for the pain you have gone through, and that awaits.
Many don't seek to debate, but as soon as you put pen to paper so to speak, you invite debate.
Especially here on Talk Jesus I might add! I'm sure our Brother in Christ Jesus @PloughBoy would confirm this!

I'm hard of hearing I can't understand certain pitch voices I use earbuds n just listen when I can not understand I take it as it's not meant for me

I believe many debate cause many only know parts of The Word n see words they Hear Not the Spirit of the Lord
