Malachi ch 3 verse 1

Hi brothers and sisters,

i was praying last few days asking Jesus to come to me in a 'real tangible way i proposed to him the fact that he appeared to the 500 and to the 12 among many others and that to this day he appears to many people. I explained to him that it is the desire of my heart and that i fully believe he can and will if he chooses and if he feels it is necessary. i know faith is important and that i shouldn't need to ask such a thing but it has always been the desire of my heart! He gives us those desires, the ones from the heart right? Then I asked for a scripture from him and turned to the bible a random page and put my finger on a verse. Malachi ch 3 v 1. Amazing I thought! His meaning of answering my prayer to come to me?! What are your thoughts? I will watch and wait and update if he does and if he permits me to!

satan comes as an angel of light. That random verse thing is being lead by signs and we are to be spirit led.

1. thankyou but with all due respect, I disagree. There are ways to protect yourself from that. We test the spirit. God commands us to test the spirit and in doing so we determine that which is counterfeit. I know the enemy can decieve, i have experienced that and I know when it comes from God, he has demonstrated that to me many times and it has lead to wonderful Godly growth. God can and does do anything and as long as we are covered in the blood of Christ we will have discerning. When Thomas doubted, he said he couldn't believe unless he saw, Jesus came to him. I do not doubt but I am asking for the desires of my heart which rests in Jesus. He is God, He has my back.

Do you have His back? What you are talking about is against the Word....What you want is fine, but you are starting to dabble in witchcraft.

What do you mean? "Do I have his back?" That doesn't make sense. Dabble in witchcraft ? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! It perfectly acceptable to desire God. I do not dabble in witchcraft! This is between me and God, he will be the judge, i don't think you understand at all what I have said here. Often God speaks to us in many ways, 'signs' and often God Will and does demonstrate his love by coming to us in dreams, visions, through people and yes, even in the flesh! He died and was raised IN THE FLESH. I can back this up with scripture. Why are people closed.minded and put limitations on God? Whatever you say, my relationship with Jesus is sound.

With regards to your post, God knows the desires of your heart Gabriel, He surely does but God has a perfect time for everything. Remember what He says, He has made everything beautiful in His own time.

Our prayers might not be answered now in our own time, but surely He does in His own time.

With regards to the verse on Malachi 3:1, we need to asked for revelations what does it says, and also we need to consider the context of the verse.

Often God speaks to us in many ways, 'signs'

Signs and Wonders are to follow the believer - believers are not to follow after signs.

We are to be Spirit Led and that's by the Holy Spirit and not seeking outwardly things.

Hello Gabriel, sis how are you hope you are doing well. Regarding with your post, i do agree that God shows Himself to us in many ways. Just to share my experience on this on a dream, At that time i was really on my down moments, it was regarding the Bs group that we have, on that night i was crying to Him what must i do. And at that night i dream that i was flying on the sky, and there was man, in a white clothed, i didint saw His face, what I remember is He put His hand on my head. On that dream, i felt the comfort of a Father that i never felt before.

Keep having a pure heart Gabriel because that what matters to our Father.

And seeking after Jesus with a deep desire such as i have explained already IS being Spirit lead. So I am being Spirit lead. The delicate nuances of my walk with Christ is not up for discussion. I am asking about the verse in Malachi. Blessings

If indeed Sir you were being Spirit Lead of the Lord there would be No finger touching random verses nor the need to ask others what they thought.

See the Spirit of God Himself would have Explained to you what He Himself was saying.

Thankyou my dear Sister, you understand exactly what i mean. I hope you are well, and thankyou for you understanding. God is capable of anything and when people try to put him in a box , he Will always surprise us. We know in our own heart that God is something different to each of us because he knows our heart individually. I know when God is speaking to me and I know when it is counterfeit. I am 55 years old and all of my life I have searched for the heart of God and I have had many experiences which have brought peace and blessings when from him. I also know when i am being deceived because I have experienced the other side as well. When Jesus appeared on Earth he was rejected, ridiculed and branded a sourcerer, not unlike people who disbelieve our encounters and messages from God. Love is the God bless you dear sister.

I have seen things that would both scare you beyond belief as well as things that ONLY Jesus could do. Please don't put me in a category of ignorant God searching because that kind of attitude spurned Jesus himself. he was branded a sourcerer and a liar, he was rejected and misunderstood. Where is the basis for your opinion?

Secondly, i opened the bible at random and read where my finger touched the page. simple, no divination or pondering, .Something i have always done and further more, something that initially brought me to Salvation in Christ in the first place when a week later i was baptized..so, the enemy would want me to be baptized??, Or want me to experience God? My relationship with God is personal as is yours, again, i reiterate, this thread was addressing the verse itself.

Hi, again, i reiterate, i did NOT plant my finger on a page in a divinatory fashion!!!!! i'm tired of explaining this. How dare people challenge my relationship with Jesus!
