Lost in the world

Hello,

I am a christian man that has gone through in the past month with very hard times. The economy pretty much turned me to a semi homeless state. I have ended up in a town named Fredonia New York where some friends of mine helped me with some motel stays. I have been trying to get help from other churches but running into brick walls since this is a very small town. The plus side is I did land a new job yesterday and wont be starting until next week, praise god for that. I need prayer for a place to go or a church call me back to offer any help possible. I have never been in this situation in my life and am really lost. I was very fortunate to have friends that could put me up as long as they could and give me a cell phone and an old laptop to be able to communicate and search help or stay connected with the job force. Please pray for me this is my last day in this hotel and 11 am is my deadline. I know this seems strange but I have given this all to god and will stay humble until he guides me.

As a "Born-Again" Christian, It is truth that God knows that we go through tribulations but, if we remain faithful , acknowledge that he is there next to us, stay daily in His word, He will help us to persevere and remind us of our true hope that stored up in His Kingdom.

Well a update, I have a pastor helping just for a couple days, so the prayers are working. Not out of the woods yet but the lords shields have been placed over me for a couple more days. Thank you and please keep praying for me.

Praying for you. See if you can find a salvation army anywhere close to you. They will help you, my husband and i work closely with them here in ky. They are a christian help and they will be there for you. I will do a google search for you and find the closest one I can for you and I will repost here.

Hi Sunshine, yes called them last week.... no funding in this area... and they have no night shelter in this area. But thank you so much for providing this information. And thank you so much for your prayers.

Good news is i got a new job today that starts on Monday, not a financial quick fix but a run in the right direction, Concerns now are housing for the time being, My prayers will be steadfast and everything that has been going on I have turned it all over tot he lord. But still I could use all the prayers I can get. Thank you all for your concerns and support. I love the Lord and love all his children.

I will keep you in my prayers daily. I will also talk to our local salvation army on monday and see how they interlink and what can be done for the salvation army in that area. this is new to me, never heard of one not having funds. I guess this economy is hurting everyone and everthing. Praise God for the job, and I know our Lord will provide housing for you. Praying for you.

hi. i hope this may help... don't know if you have tried this yet or not...

Call united way 2-1-1 for northeast NY. i am in Albany and i called the other day for housing for myself. Call them. They can get you everything from a place to live to things like can openers, toasters, etc. lol
