The Lord of the universe
Nailed to a tree
How huge His love is
For you and for me
Love would have held Him there
But nails were used instead
Where a golden crown should be
Were thorns around His precious head
The Lord of the universe
Taking our hell for us
How great the price He paid
We'll never know or comprehend
His Love, a never ending light of hope
A beacon of grace for you and me
The Lord of the universe
Nailed to a tree
Hope this poem touches someone's heart today.
