Hello Talk Jesus!
I'm really excited to have joined b/c I am 8 months into a year's adventure studying theology in Japan, and let me tell ya, consistent Christian fellowship is hard to come by.
Don't get me wrong, the Christian University I am attending has a wonderful group of English international students, but I've had trouble finding a church. The only English congregations are in Tokyo, but the train fare eats my entire budget. I tried attending a local Japanese church, but being in an environment where I can't effectively communicate isn't as "uplifting" as the Church is designed to be.
I have now restarted my church hunt, but I'm really looking for a large English-speaking, Bible-quoting, advice-giving group I can turn to. This sounds like the perfect place.
Hopefully we'll get to know each other much better as we interact
