Live what you Believe. Christ is Coming Soon!!!
In a fitting conclusion to the Parables of Christ, Jesus reveals the scene in heaven that will unfold when He comes to judge the nations. Jesus Christ will sit as king and judge, and He will eternally separate the just from the unjust, the righteous from the unrighteous, the sheep from the goats. It is found in Matthew twenty-five, and it is both holy and terrifying. The utter finality of His judgment is very sobering.
It makes me really wanna be sure which side I'm on. Am I a sheep or a goat? It doesn't really matter what you or I think; only what He decides. In light of this inevitable 'Day of Reckoning', we should all be diligent to search the Scriptures in order to understand His will and His ways. I don't want to be fooled into trusting in mere traditions of men. I can't afford to worship God in vain or take my salvation lightly.
It is up to me to know what I believe, believe what is true, and live what I believe. The Apostle John said it well, "You know that He appeared to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him keeps on sinning... let no one deceive you." (1 John 3:6-7) Paul urged the believers in Corinth, "Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you." (1 Cor 15:1) "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown." (Rev 3:11) God be with you all...
