Life as we know it can change in a flash
Someone beloved has died in a crash
Wasn't prepared for the difference it makes
Quite overwhelmed as emotion partakes
Cannot believe that I'm feeling so sad
Being immune from the past that I've had
This is a glimmer, perhaps I have changed
Self has been melted, my heart rearranged.
Praise to The Spirit for working so hard
Bringing His love to a heart made of lard
Feeling for others is really quite new
Looking at things through His point of view
So you see it's worth the wait
Stick with Him, He'll change your state
Though it's sad to write this verse
We have defeated the devils curse.
