Leave The Mystery

Far and wide we chase mysteries of our lives our beliefs
Trying so hard to define the mysteries with logic of sense
When all along the answers that we seek are left behind us

As we chance the mystery that we’re hoping to change our life
That same life passes us by leaving us blind forever in wonder
Life is only a mystery if we make it one

Trying to find true happiness isnt a mystery its a given through Christ
Theres a false happiness that leaves the mouth dry insides feeling empty
The other leaves you full and complete which one would you, should we chose

We will know if we chose wisely in Christ or falsely in satan and his lies
If choosing false will be like drinking salt water leavening us wanting more
The other will be drinking from living water that will have us thirsty no more

Lift up the shades of darkness let the light of Christ come in
The darkness is what blinds us keeps us from seeing the truth
It is that truth that sets us free from our own prison

Leave the mystery behind put on the shades of faith see Christ save you
Then His Spirit will be leading us to the truth we’ve been afraid to hear
That if we trust in Christ the mystery will be solved as the painting completes

I like the part about putting on the shades and I think we must also acquire shades of love, forgiveness, peace, joy and mercy.
Then the solved mystery will make the painting breathless.
