"Kentucky Bluegrass"

Have you ever been to Kentucky?
K.O.A. and driving through;
I remember not which state
I was traveling to.
Some say nothing could be finer
Than North Carolina.
I won't argue with the folks there,
But Kentucky grass is really blue.

Have you ever stopped in Memphis?
Just to walk the city streets;
Never knew before -
Praise the Lord! -
What it's like to be the minority.

Georgia is ready,
Coleman in the truck.
After miles on the highway road,
The campsite is right for us.

Have you ever been to Kentucky?
K.O.A. and driving through;
For the grass and trees with leaves of blue,
I remember not which state
I was traveling to.

what does K.O.A. mean?
enlighten us Please. Or at least me

imready4thelord, our Lord's blessings and thanks for the question!

K.O.A. is an abbreviation for Kampgrounds of America, around for decades, built campsites through the South.

Also, in case you wonder about Coleman. It is a company that makes camping equipment. As innovators, they were best known for the Coleman stove, a travel sized cooker that runs on flammable fluid fuel.
