As many of us as have been baptized into Christ Jesus (by being baptized with His Spirit-1 Corinthians 12:13, not water) have been baptized into His death (by being made one Spirit with the Lord in His death) are thereby justified (for he who has died is justified of sin-Romans 6:7) when their heart is seen as “circumcised” (Romans 3:30, 2:29) by having put off the sins of the flesh to live a righteous life (1 John 3:7), and raised together by being made alive together with His Spirit when forgiven of all trespasses (Col 2:11-13).
Believers were reconciled to God by receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost/Spirit of adoption and died to sin as they were conformed to a likeness of Jesus Christ and His death to be of resurrection by being baptized with the Spirit of Jesus Christ into Christ Jesus and His death to be justified (after their heart was circumcised by putting off the sins of the flesh) and raised to life (born of the Spirit) by being made one Spirit with the Lord.
