Judgment Of Love
There’s a sixteen year old boy in standing a courtroom
On trial for drinking while driving crashing into a mini van
Killing a family of five and his best friend
Every eye that looked upon that boy was filled with judgment
Everyone still shocked, but some filled with hatred in there souls
How could you do such a thing they yelled at the boy
If they could only see the sorrow inside feel the shame, the hurt
The boy was already in is own Alcatraz below the depth of darkness
What he really needed was the love and forgiveness of Christ
The Judge banged His gravel and said who will defend this boy
A man in white stood up and said I will by my blood of innocence
Then the Judge looked at the boy and said you have been forgiven
There’s a 40 year old man of the cloth standing in a courtroom
On trial for slandering the Word of God and for self-righteousness
Kicked out a family of five for not believing as he did
Every eye that looked upon that man was filled with love
Everyone still shocked, but some filled with aww in there souls
We’re here for you they said to the man of the cloth
The Judge banged His gravel and said who will defend this man
The man in cloth stood up and said I defend myself for I am Innocent
Then the Judge with tears looked at the man and said guilty
Don’t we get it the judgment is put on by ourselves not by God
God wants to look down upon us with love, not judgment of sin
By not having Christ by our side we chose judgment of Sin
No matter what mistakes we do there’s always forgiveness
No matter how many self-rightous eyes look upon us with guilt
Truth is God wants to look with Judgment of Love through Christ
