Those of the world can not find happiness because they do not have Him who true happiness is found in, we as Christians sometimes go thru periods where we are not so happy but we always have Him to bring us happiness. No matter what we go thru in this life we more to look forward to then just death but the thing we are looking most forward to involves our dying and going home to Him but while He has us here we should be happy taking the time to serve Him here while we can.

Death and the grave would mean an end of the bitterness and misery.
If I was in Job's shoes I might be thinking the same things as each day would be so very hard.

The thing I have come to learn about happiness is that it will leave you hanging. What I mean is happiness stems from some kind of event or feeling for happiness is an emotion HOWEVER when we learn how to actually get in and stay in the Joy of the Lord, well nothing can shake you. When we learn to truly walk in the Joy of The Lord then we do not have to change when a different situation arises via tragedy or what have you for you are the same each and every day. This is how we can stay joyful and focussed on God even in a tragedy. This is something that most have not mastered but when you do, well Brother Clark, the world takes notice.
No wonder scripture tells us The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength.
