Job 13:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
7 Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?

Job 13:6-8
JuliaSmith 6 Hear now my proof, and attend. to the pleadings of my lips. 7 Will ye speak wickedness for God? and will ye speak deceit to him? 8 Will ye accept his face? will ye contend for God?

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

6 Sometimes we talk to much when we should be listening. We also want to be like Job and have the chance to state our case we maybe to before man but before God only case is Jesus.

7-8 They didn’t need to defend God. They also didn’t know that Job had sinned they thought so only because of what happened to him but if his sin was great enough for that to happen to him the whole world would have been able to tell what Job’s sin was. Job sinned like we all do but what happened wasn’t a result of his sin.

Actually Job does want to know what his sin is..read further down. The problem with Job is he was self-righteous. He doesnt see that as a sin.

Many times we are blind to our own sin. If we say we have never sinned, we are liars. Only Jesus has never ever sinned.
