Jesus never had to apologise, never confessed any sin or needed to repent

The Gospel of Matthew (1:1) begins by calling Christ the “son of David” and the “son of Abraham”.

Both David and Abraham had very special sons, but they were disappointments. The true Son of Abraham was not Isaac but Jesus; the true son of David was not Absalom or Solomon but Jesus.

This is the Son who is not a disappointment. Fathers failed, and their sons failed also, but not this Son. He came to lift the family of man to a new level.

Jesus never needed to go to a psychologist or a counsellor; He was never at the end of His tether. Jesus was never fed up, never had a nervous breakdown, never suffered a trauma, and never had a burn-out.

Jesus never had to apologise, never confessed any sin or needed to repent. He met every situation with absolute poise and perfect reaction.

What a Son to be proud of! We can hang on to Him. He became a Son for us.
Because He lived like that, we can live! We do not just get by, scrape through, rowing hard, struggling all the way, but can sail under a full sail.

With a Son like that we can face the music even when we don’t like the tune. Jesus says, “Because I live, you will live also” (John 14:19).

Hallelujah

incredible

imagine if the whole world were like Jesus.
I wonder what the world would be like if everyone did...
but He knew we wouldn't be perfect, far from it.
So I am glad He lived the perfect sinless
life that He did, and I am glad He gave his life for me.
What a wonderful feeling to know, I am always loved
and cared for, and always being watched over.
Yes...
Hallelujah
