Jesus Is More Than Just Christmas

Do you know the Christ of Christmas? The Christ of whom you sing.
Do you know Him as your Saviour, your living victorious King.
As you sing of the baby in the manger, shepherds and wise men from the east,
Of the star that led to that lowly bed, is that where your thoughts cease?
He came to earth to show us God's plan for all mankind
The Saviour saves the sinner, He heals the lame and blind,
The deaf He makes to hear again and evil spirits flee,
For one day all of Creation will to Jesus bow their knee.
Many years have passed now since that night in Bethlehem
Yet the story is still as wonderful and true as it was then,
Take some 'time out' this Christmas to thank God for His gift of love
And join the hosts that celebrate His birth with angels up above.
