Yes, I know the "quote". Whether Voltaire actually said it or was the product of Hall cobbling somethings said by Voltaire to a nicely worded quote, either way.

Paul said that Jesus was made like unto his brethren in all ways. His brethren couldn't perform miracles. The Father performed the miracles through them. He also performed the miracles through Jesus. Jesus did not do them of Himself. Paul tells us that, after Jesus' resurrection, that the Father alone has immortality. That would seem to indicate Jesus' immortality comes from the Father. This would fit with Paul's other statement that God gives, present tense, life to all things.

Jesus lived as fully human and fully divine, i.e., God incarnate. HE died a physical human death as part of HIS reconciliation to humanity, to taste death for all, and to conquer death to reconcile humanity to himself. HE rose into a live physical and wholly divine body: HIS humanity was past, and HIS divine had completely taken over the whole of HIM.

When Jesus' crucified dead body was laid to rest, it was a normal human body;
subject to death, decay, and the aging process.

His body would not have died if we didn't kill Him. His body saw no corruption because death had no hold on Him. Meaning He really chose death. We can't choose death , it's gonna happen whether we like it or not. But He could choose to die because He wasn't going to otherwise. This is why His death is a true sacrifice.
His earthly life was changed to eternal life. Formerly subject to physical laws eternal life in Glory is no longer bound by the laws of physics. The body obeyed the will of a soul in Glory. He looked different because He willed it. Untill He spoke Mary's name.
