What is the difference, if any, between these two things? Was Pentecost for other believers, or did the disciples need to get this infilling as well?

I've felt that they were two different things, but something I just noticed may change that idea.

Any thoughts or studies you can point me to on this topic would be appreciated.
Thanks and blessings to you!

There are no contradictions in the word of God , my only input would be that a temporary indwelling as in the OT was given that they would be able to bear along in his absence until the Holy Spirits permanent indwelling was given at the day of Pentecost.
I find it interesting in the little study I did to answer you,
Pentecost = "the fiftieth day"
1) the second of the three great Jewish feasts, celebrated at Jerusalem yearly, the seventh week after the Passover, in grateful recognition of the completed harvest

The harvest was complete the twelve were delivered safe, and now these seeds would bear much fruit in the next season
