It pleased God… to reveal His Son in me. (Galatians 1:15,16)

If Christ, the Son of God’s love, is central and supreme in the heart of the believer so much else goes down, it must go down. Controversies with God will divide, but those artificial things, those things resultant from man’s activity and his projecting of himself, insinuating of himself into the interests of God, those things cannot abide where there is an adequate inward revelation of the Lord Jesus; they cannot be. These two things are before us: one, because of the revelation of Jesus Christ in our hearts we have a passion for Him; on the other hand, because of the absence of a sufficient revelation of Christ in our hearts we are out for other things which we would say are in His interests, and for Him, but which can never, never satisfy God’s heart. It is the satisfaction of the heart of the Father, which is in view.

Beloved I am speaking about the individual. I am not justified, and you are not justified, in claiming to be Christians except in the measure in which Christ is manifested in me, in you; and all the force and weight and ingenuity of hell is out against that. Believers have far more to provoke them to un-Christ-likeness than anyone else in the world. Believers have far more assaults to churn them up and to make them betray Christ than anyone else. Hell is dead set against the revelation of Jesus Christ. Everything begins with this, the revelation of Jesus Christ within.

Today's devotional while reading these words HolySpirit revealed yet another place in my heart that was faintly crying out for freedom.

Beloved I am speaking about the individual. I am not justified, and you are not justified, in claiming to be Christians except in the measure in which Christ is manifested in me, in you;

Absence of revelation.

The Absence of knowledge and revelation of him, is the big part of the Pie chart in our life where we are not fully in his plan, and have the weights that so hold us back from the race.

Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Col 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing......

Seems absence of revelation, wisdom, and knowledge of his will, gets filled with our own things that do nothing, or have no eternal effect.

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Seek ye first God's things, his Kingdom and these things are just added. Everything we get from the Lord comes through the knowledge, and revelation of HIM.

I just Heard my Pastor say something about confessing over and over about that new car is coming in. We need to ask and believe, but is the focus on the Car or the Kingdom. He went onto say if it's the Kingdom first, then don't the other things just get added anyway?

Certainly a more mature perspective than just name it and claim it.

Austin puts things in such a advanced and mature way, I hope others don't miss this.

Jesus Is Lord.

Oh, I was wonder if those that are thankful for Austin, if they tithed faithfully would it enable him to do more for God? Just a thought.. :wink:

Many have wrpped thier own desire in "GODS WILL" labels to justifiey themselves but the lord warns that the day will come that he says I NEVER KNEW YOU..because of our desires and not Gods being in our hearts ..ive seen much damage done by Name it and claim it doctrines as they cause a Gap in realationship with Christ when we dont get the results we expect ..Seek ye first the kingdom of God and you cant Go wrong...Rev

Good question, he wrote and distributed a free christian bi-monthly paper for 49 years all around the world and compiled these writings into over 100 books of which 79 are still available in hard copy free of charge, and all without teaching or invoking the old covenant tithe.

I guess one must ask who is doing the work. Is it God or man? If it is God, is He restricted by man's obedience and/or acceptance of what He is doing? Can man change the outcome of what God has purposed?
