Is Jesus Your Valentine? If not Let Him.

Know therefore that the Lord your God
is God; he is the faithful God, keeping
his covenant of love to a thousand
generations of those who love him and
keep his commands.
( Deuteronomy 7:9 *NIV )


Today being St Valentines Day, a day when we honor
those we love, let us not forget to honor our Heavenly Father as well!

After all, there is no way humanly possible to measure
the love that GOD has for each of us. The Prophet
David explained it best when he wrote; Your love, O
Lord , reaches to the heavens, your
faithfulness to the skies. Your righteous-
ness is like the mighty mountains, your
justice like the great deep. O Lord , you
preserve both man and beast. How priceless
is your unfailing love! Both high and low
among men find refuge in the shadow of
your wings. ( Psalms 36:5-7 )


Therefore let us do as JESUS CHRIST taught us
when HE said, 'Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind. ( Matthew 22:37 )
For after all, The Lord watches over all who
love him but all the wicked he will
destroy. ( Psalms 145:20 )

So tell GOD how much you love HIM when you pray,
today and every day! Also thank HIM for all of the
Blessings that HE has given to you as well. Then before
you know it you will be saying, I will sing of the Lord 's
great love forever with my mouth I
will make your faithfulness known
through all generations. ( Psalms 89:1 )

Amen SL I have made Jesus my Valentine today , because He made me His first !

Let me share a lil story with you and anyone else that may stumble upon this post .

I was at the store last week with my sister picking up a few things the kids needed . I was walking through the store and passing all the Valentine stuff they had out ! I started to get depressed , with all that has been changing in my life lately . I was sad that my husband would not be my Valentine this yr , noone would . The more time that went on the sadder I became . I was on my way to check out and pay for my stuff , when I passed a small display of lil doodads and such . I happened to see a lil ring sitting there . On the ring were small footprints and the quote "... it was then that I carried you ." I smiled and my heart lifted , almost to the point of tears . I knew this was Jesus speaking to my heart . He helped me rebuke the lies of depression being sent my way from the enemy and again realize His love for me . So He made me His Valentine this yr , every day of every year . Yes I bought the ring and wear it ! I could not not have it LOL . The Lord Always finds a way to lift us when we need it , even inside the local Walmart LOL .
