I made a video discussing my thoughts on if Jesus is a socialist. Let me know what you think of my arguments down below, and what do you think? Is Jesus a socialist? What evidence do you have that He is or is not?

Well, No He is not a socialist.
He is “The Son of GOD” He is “God”! He speaks to demons, the wind, the waters even The Dead! No I don’t think a “socialist” can do that, it takes a God!
New Living Translation
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
Neither is He a capitalist either. There is never a dull moment in the neighborhood.
1st in the story about the “talents”. Jesus Was speaking in a way that people understands, the way their system is structured so they can understand his. So now you Have a new “Lord”! A new Lord ,a new system.
(Matthew 20).
14Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you.15Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
I must say this too! People always refer this verse in the negative. This verse is not a negative pertains to the “Kingdom of God”. It is positive for the “First and the Last”!
International Standard Version
"In the same way, the last will be first, and the first will be last, because many are called, but few are chosen."
We need to stop trying to out run the other person, stop being jealous, we all are going to the same destination and arrive at Dinner Table on time. And our place in The Kingdom has already been decided “ before the foundation of the World.
I used this parable for a reason. To explain all parables, he used examples of things they new, Now you have a New master, with new rules! Follow them as I have commanded you!. For you are my slave. The word is not “servant” it is “Slave”. We where bought with a price.
I do understand many Christians do not understand the collection of “Proverbs” and how and why it is in the “Canon of Scripture”. But for a little taste, some will say God said this in “proverbs” most likely He didn’t. Some will say; “The Bible” [The Book] said this, they are Right. But the “Holy Scripture” did not.
Proverbs are a collection of wise saying, collected through out the lands, by all types of People. A lot of them had no relationship with the God we know. But they where by “trial and error” and by experience. When reading “Proverbs “ always notice who it is speaking. Somethings are inspired by the “Holy Spirit”, something’s by common sense, but all is in the “Providential” care of GOD. And He shows how to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Sorry for being long winded, I tried to address this short as possible. You decide.

Well tho He was not a communist He was a community-ist and emphasized over and over that helping the poor, the homeless, the orphans, widows, etc., was essential and that congregations should be helping one another. For example in a church with 1000s many of which tithe weekly no one should be starving, unemployed, getting evicted, unable to get health care, etc....not socialist, community-ist...we are ALL ONE BODY...all the parts should be interacting and helping one another...
Now apply this socially...willfully share in common (not all but what you can do)...help the single mom...give some time (God needs your time and talents not your money) ....politically the current mood is sheer greed for power and money...they support the rich man and leave Lazarus unattended....or are ungodly pro-deathers....

Not a very helpful video because you've given a very weak presentation of what socialism is and how it works. And there are plenty of democratic socialist countries that work just fine. Look into the Scandinavian countries for example.
And Jesus parables are not about evaluating any economic system or arrangement of government. Do you not understand this.
If you want to do more than build up straw men and knock them over, address the question in a constructive way: is there a way of arranging an economy that is in line d with all that the Bible teaches about resources, power and justice?

Acts 5:4 Did it not belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How could you conceive such a deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God!"

People use the idea that the early believers believed in socialism by selling everything but God said they had a right to keep the money. This is free will giving and not socialism.

Absolutely true. And when we read that the Church shared all things in common the key word is "shared" which is an act of the will not a spiritual or legal compulsion.

I didn't bother with the video, since there's no reason to.
Jesus isn't a "Politician" and HIS KINGDOM is NOT of this world. End of story.
This or that "Theologian" or "Denomination" may be POLITICAL in nature, but that doesn't mean SPIT.
1Co 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
