Is it ok make money off jesus Christ Tshirts?

Is it ok as long as we donate 90% of it to the church? because I'm thinking about starting a business selling Jesus T-shirts and im going to sell them for 20usd, is it ok to do it as long as I donate 90% of profits?

Well $20 for a T-shirt is pretty expensive, called price gouging usually. As to donation of profits, profit is what you have left over after paying for employee(s) salary and cost of manufacturing and shipping costs. You could be the only employee and give yourself such a high salary that after costs there is only a couple of pennies left over per shirt. Or if you have employees, give them a poor man's salary and no benefits and give yourself the lions share as presidents employee cost. Too little info on the situation to say if it would be godly or not.

Actually I disagree with this. If you're going to have a good t-shirt that doesn't ware out after a few washes, the price is not so bad. Paying for my t-shirts about 19.99 or so. Pretty much 20 dollars. I guess you would say I'm getting gouged

Most will donate 10% of earnings, but if you feel moved by the Holy Spirit for it to be 90% so be it.
With T-Shirts that you are calling Jesus T-Shirts, I approve greatly of!!! I try not to ware T-Shirts that don't have some Scriptural message on it. I'd rather pay if I'm going to pay someone for a T-Shirt, sharing the message of God to whomever happens to read them, instead of some company is the way to go!

Brother Brad had some good considerations to keep in mind concerning the monetary part of it. After it is said and done, if what you are able to give to the church that is gain open your own tithing to them and can further the spread of the Gospel. I say Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia, Amen!

Most T-shirts that I have seen, plain white, walmart bought are about $4 each. Any clothes that last more than 5 or 6 years would be worth more of course. I probably woudnt pay $20 unless it would last at least 20 years of often being worn. But I woudnt even know where to buy one such. I once bought a pair of really good shoes, for diabetics who are on their feet a lot. They cost $120 and they were discounted 20% to get that price. They were hard on my feet and I had to give them up after about a week. A $10 pair of walmart shoes were much easier on my feet, so unfortunately you dont always get what you pay for.

Dear Brother,
I think we're talking about two different types of T-Shirts. Now a days, and yes I'm old, has a lot of the youth wearing T-Shirts that communicate something or should I say advertise or have some type of logo denoting a company or theme of some sort, which cost much more. I agree that the plain white "V-neck" or "Crew-neck" type, are priced at about what you have mentioned brother, but I don't think that is the type of T-shirt business this brother is talking about. If it were, I'd totally agree with you on the pricing, and merchandising of them.
