Probably in a large measure the individuals involved as well as the governments do not realize what they have done and are doing toward bringing that wrong oneness (similar to the tower of Babel in Gen 11] into completion.

Even as many of those within the United States government in any one action may not have realized how they have been eroding the intended safeguards our early forefathers tried to build into the Constitution, it is likely that many participants in the United Nations do not understand the negative part of the picture which is, I believe, getting worse. Unfortunately in the end of the matter ignorance will not prevent calamity.

To really understand, we need God's Word through His Spirit. This part of why Jesus was sent. If people think that they can understand through man's logic and man's science, I think that they are very badly mistaken and will suffer the consequences.

Please explain what you mean. Not understanding. I am doing my homework, and I am watching very much so. And, they are doing what it says in Revelation 13, i.e. the beast is rising and is conquering nations and people, and is deceiving the masses, and is persecuting and is killing Christians. And, the false prophet is leading the people to worship this beast - one world government.

I can see that my skepticism over the claims made about the United Nations puts me in the minority.

I would need to be convinced

• that Revelation 13 is talking about One World Government
• that the United Nations has a secret One World Government agenda
• that the UN agenda is being talked about in Revelation.

Just remember that God created all things and He created them "very good" [Gen 1:31]. Man also was created "very good", but unlike other creatures was give the ability to go against God and has done so repeatedly from the time of the first man Adam until now.

God tells us clearly about man's inability to find his own way:

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jerem 10:23

But we have available to us One who is able to direct our steps for us:

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

As long as we trust in our own knowledge and the ways of our own minds, we will continue to walk without God:

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Prov 3:5-6

Let us not follow Jesus only according to what we can prove by our natural senses and mind as did Thomas here:

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." John 20:29

Let us rather walk by faith as faith is described here:

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb 11:1

I personally feel the US has a lot more control over the world than the UN does.
We have more troops in other countries, spend more money in foreign countries, and have

True to a point, but we dont do this independent of the "international community," i.e. the New World Order. The US government that we see are not the ones truly in control of our government. There is a shadow government behind the scenes making the decisions for our nation, and it is comprised of the powerful elite of this world. What our nation does worldwide is all part of the New World Order beast who is rising and is conquering nations and peoples and the saints of God.
