Lev 11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
Lev 11:14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
---------------------------------------

As for the Turkey it is a kind of Vulture.
  • Head and Neck – Vultures feed on the carcasses of dead animals. They sometimes have to push their heads inside the body in order to get a meal. If they had feathers on their heads and necks, these would soon become clogged and matted with blood. – Turkeys do not have feather on their heads and neck.

  • Beak and Talons – Vultures also have predatory beaks for ripping flesh off their dead carcases and large talons for holding their meal in place. The domesticated turkey has smaller beaks and talons which are due to their domestication. However, at first glance it is quite easy to confuse a turkey vulture with a wild turkey.

Turkeys and vultures are similar in some respects but they are not related.

@Bendito
either the Turkey is an unclean animal or I have misinterpreted these scriptures and a few observations that I find it best not to mention.

Rev 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rev 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

If it bothers you, don't eat turkey.

They say Domestic dogs came from wolves.

Where did Domestic Turkeys come from?

Also why is there such a thing as a Turkey Vulture?

Things to consider.
------------------------------------------------------------

I don't like Turkey anyways plus it makes me sleepy so easy for me to personally avoid it because my flesh don't like it to begin with.

I no longer do and it was in me to put the word out. Especially when the Harvest festival that many take part in is coming up in America
Well if you're going to spread the word, make it accurate.

Domestic turkeys came from wild turkeys...There are lots of turkey vultures. We have lots around where I live. But turkeys and vultures are NOT related.

The domestic turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) is a large fowl, one of the two species in the genus Meleagris and the same as the wild turkey.

Domestic turkey - Wikipedia
Turkey (bird) - Wikipedia

Domestic/Wild Turkey is one species while ocellated turkey is another species of Turkey.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thing both domesticated and wild dogs are of the wolf kind.
I suspect both domesticated and wild turkey are of the vulture kind and coincidentally there are Turkey vultures which do resemble Turkeys from a distance.

There are some domesticated dogs that could resemble wolves from a distance.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the end of the day I suspect Rev 2:20 to be a good indication of Turkey being uncleaned animal.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
